Statement by the Iran Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty
Regarding the Disappearance of Dr. Massoud Masjoudi

5 February 2026

Iran Front

The “Iran Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty” has learned with grave alarm and deep distress of the disappearance of Dr. Massoud Masjoudi, an active and courageous member of this Front, in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
Dr. Masjoudi devoted many years of principled and determined effort to the restoration of the rule of law, the defense of the rights of Iranian citizens, and the exposure and confrontation of the influence and intimidation networks linked to the Islamic Republic within the host countries of Iranian communities. In this struggle, he endured serious personal sacrifices, including prolonged sit-ins and hunger strikes.

Crucially, the danger now surrounding his disappearance is precisely the same danger that Dr. Masjoudi had repeatedly and publicly warned Canadian authorities, institutions, and public opinion about in recent years:
the systematic threat to the lives and safety of Iranian political and human rights activists affiliated with the Iranian opposition in Canada.

The involvement of the British Columbia Police Homicide Investigation Team, and the official acknowledgment that the circumstances of his disappearance are suspicious and abnormal, has justifiably heightened public concern and underscores the seriousness of this case.

While the “Iran Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty” will exercise restraint and patience until the completion of the criminal and official investigations, we emphasize in the strongest terms that the Government of Canada bears a fundamental responsibility to protect the lives, safety, and security of political and human rights activists on its soil. Canada’s commitment to democracy, the rule of law, and human rights is measured not by declarations, but by the effective protection of those who exercise these freedoms in practice.

Any attack, intimidation, disappearance, or act of violence targeting Iranian political or human rights activists in Canada must be regarded not merely as an attack on individuals, but as an attack on Canada’s democratic order itself. Failure to confront such threats decisively risks emboldening transnational repression and undermining public trust in democratic institutions.
We express our appreciation to the authorities of the British Columbia Police and the Homicide Investigation Team for their prompt and serious engagement with this case. At the same time, we call upon the Government of Canada to treat this matter with the utmost urgency and gravity it demands.

We urge all Iranians in Canada and around the world who may possess any information regarding Dr. Masjoudi’s final days, movements, or any detail that could assist the investigation, to contact the police immediately.
In these difficult and critical moments, the Iranian Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty stands firmly with the respected family of Dr. Massoud Masjoudi, as well as his friends and colleagues. We earnestly hope to receive news of his safe recovery as soon as possible.

Until the truth is fully uncovered, maintaining vigilance, calm, and unwavering support for a thorough, professional, and independent investigation remains our collective responsibility.

To the responsible authorities of the European Union, the United Nations, and all relevant international judicial and human rights bodies

More than 12,000 Iranian citizens have now been confirmed killed by the ruling authorities of the Islamic Republic. Among the victims are a large number of children.

Today, according to credible and consistent reports, 25 children were killed in the Tehranpars area of eastern Tehran, after security forces opened fire with automatic weapons on a group of young people. This incident represents yet another grave escalation in the systematic targeting of civilians, this time, children , by state forces.

This figure, horrifying in itself, represents only a partial and incomplete picture of an unfolding national catastrophe. Nationwide protests are currently ongoing in more than 180 cities across Iran, while available casualty data covers only a limited number of locations. Under these conditions, it is not only reasonable but unavoidable to conclude that the true number of victims is likely to rise into the tens of thousands if no immediate action is taken.

The number of injured, detained, and forcibly disappeared individuals remains unknown. Numerous reports indicate that wounded protesters have been abducted directly from hospitals, leaving families without any information about the fate or condition of their loved ones.

What is taking place in Iran can no longer be described merely as a series of isolated killings or even a massacre. It constitutes a crime against humanity, carried out through widespread and systematic violence against a civilian population.

The continued mass killing of civilians, including children, raises grave and urgent concerns that these crimes may escalate toward genocidal dimensions if left unchecked.

For decades, the international community has repeatedly affirmed its commitment to the principles of human dignity, the protection of civilians, the rights of children, and the responsibility to prevent crimes against humanity. These principles are said to form the moral and legal foundation of modern international order and democratic societies.

Today, those principles are being tested in the most brutal way. The people of Iran are paying with their lives for demanding freedom, dignity, and basic human rights. Silence, hesitation, or procedural delay in the face of such crimes is no longer neutrality, it is complicity.

We therefore call upon you, once and for all, to act in accordance with the values that are so often proclaimed:

To recognise the gravity and scale of the crimes unfolding in Iran;

To take urgent, concrete, and effective measures to halt these crimes against humanity;

To hold those responsible accountable through all available international legal mechanisms;

And to protect a civilian population that is being systematically targeted by its own rulers.

History will record not only the crimes committed, but also the responses or the failures of those who had the power to act.

The people of Iran are watching. And so is history.

Statement of the Iran Front for the Revival of Law & National Sovereignty

Statement of the Iran Front

At a time when Iran is facing a profound crisis of legitimacy, governance, and fundamental civil rights, the Iran Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty,  hereby declares its firm support for the call issued by Kurdish political parties for a nationwide general strike.

This call must be understood as part of the people’s legitimate right to civil resistance, peaceful protest, and the demand for the rule of law.

We call upon all political parties, political groups, civil society organisations, professional associations, workers, teachers, students, merchants, and social activists across the country, regardless of ideological or political orientation, to support this call for a general strike.

The Iran Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty, emphasises the necessity of unity among all political and social forces and considers any factional, exclusionary, or divisive positioning at this historic moment to be contrary to the national interests of the Iranian people.
Today, priority must be given to a shared objective: ending the rule of lawlessness and restoring politics to the framework of public law.

The Iran Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty, which from the outset has stressed the necessity of coordinated national action and the return of popular protests to a law-based path, calls upon all social groups and sectors throughout the country to join these protests and to form a unified voice in defense of popular sovereignty and a law-governed transition.

Finally, the Iran Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty, calls upon all democratic governments, international institutions, and human rights organisations to respect the will of the Iranian people and to express their full support for the Iranian people’s uprising as a national and inclusive demand that serves no particular faction or group, but rather upholds the universal principles of freedom, human rights, and the rule of law.

Iran, now more than ever, is in need of national solidarity and a transition grounded in the rule of law.

Statement of the Iran Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty on the Arrest of Narges Mohammadi and Other Renowned Activists in Iran

12 December 2025

Statement of the Iran Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty on the Arrest

According to reports published today, Ms Narges Mohammadi, a globally recognised figure, one of the most respected voices of civil courage in Iran, and a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, has been violently attacked and arrested by security agents of the ruling regime. She was attending a memorial ceremony marking the seventh day after the suspicious death of Khosro Alikordi, a lawyer for political prisoners. A number of political and human rights activists and families of victims of recent state killings were with her, including Sepideh Gholian, a well-known writer and activist, and Mr Ali Adinehzadeh, the father of Abolfazl Adinehzadeh, a 17-year-old boy killed by security forces. Several other known activists were also detained.

According to the latest reports, Mr Javad Alikordi, the brother of the recently deceased Khosro Alikordi, is among those arrested. The group were beaten, detained, and transferred to an unknown location.

The Iran Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty firmly condemns these unlawful arrests. This episode again demonstrates the Islamic Republic’s systemic hostility towards peaceful dissent, human rights advocacy, and the most basic principles of the rule of law.

Narges Mohammadi’s voice represents a wider truth: Iran’s future depends on pluralism, inclusion, and respect for the dignity of every citizen. By targeting one of the most prominent advocates of non-violent resistance and women’s rights, the regime exposes its fear of open political participation and diversity of opinion.

At this critical moment in Iran’s history, the opposition must avoid the fragmentation and exclusion that have allowed authoritarianism to endure. The Iran Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty therefore calls on all opposition groups, particularly those abroad, to adopt a unified, non-partisan stance and to condemn the arbitrary arrest of these political and human rights defenders.

The Iran Front also calls for the immediate and unconditional release of Ms Mohammadi and the other detainees, and urges the international community to recognise that repression of peaceful activism is not an internal matter. It is a violation of universal human rights and a direct obstacle to Iran’s democratic transition.

Iran will only advance when every voice is heard and when the law, not force, shapes the future of the nation.

On the Third Anniversary of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” Revolution

16 September 2025

Woman, Life, Freedom

May the memory of Zhina Mahsa Amini shine ever bright, a name that became the symbol of the Iranian people’s freedom and revolution. Three years have passed since the state killing of Zhina, which ignited the flames of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” revolution; a movement that was not a passing protest, but a cultural, social, and historic uprising, stemming from the depths of the Iranian nation’s collective memory, and laid a new foundation for human dignity.

This movement achieved fundamental gains:

- Reviving Iran’s diverse identity and culture in the public sphere;

- Placing women’s rights and civil liberties at the centre of national politics;

- Bridging generations, with young people at the forefront of the fight for freedom;

- Globalising the voice of the Iranian people’s quest for freedom;

- Delegitimising the repressive system of the Islamic Republic;

- Building networks of solidarity inside the country and across the diaspora;

- Exposing the regime’s systematic violence;

- And globally recognising the “Woman, Life, Freedom” as an inspirational movement.

This movement also offers a clear lesson for the future:

- Repression may temporarily halt an uprising, but it can never extinguish the Iranian people’s will for freedom.

-Victory requires intelligent organisation, unity of forces, and sustained trust-building among the people.

-The street remains the primary arena of confrontation; broad, continuous, and informed presence is what will shape Iran’s destiny.

The “Iran Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty”, honouring all who have fallen in the cause of freedom, reaffirms its commitment that only through the restoration of national sovereignty and the rule of law and through a peaceful yet decisive transition can the ideals of Woman, Life, Freedom bear fruit. Iran Front pledges to stand with the people of Iran at every stage of this transition, from network-building and training, to organising protests, supporting civil institutions, and creating the legal groundwork for a free future.

We call on all national, civil, and freedom-seeking forces to unite at this historic moment around a common goal:

the overthrow of the occupying regime of the Islamic Republic and the realisation of a free, secular, democratic, law-governed, and unified Iran.

May the memory of Zhina and all the martyrs of freedom be eternal.

Woman, Life, Freedom.

Strong Condemnation of Terrorist Threats and Unlawful Actions by the Islamic Republic

19 July 2025

Masood Masjoody

The Iranian Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty unequivocally condemns the dissemination of threatening manifestos and hate-filled propaganda targeting members of this Front and other political activists and freedom fighters. These actions, carried out by media outlets affiliated with the Islamic Republic’s security and propaganda apparatus, including Mashregh News, affiliated with the IRGC Intelligence Organisation, and Resa News, the official media outlet of the Qom Seminary, represent blatant incitement and threats.

The publication of such material and terrorist threats against political and civil society activists is not only illegal and inhumane, but also a clear reflection of the regime’s desperation and deep fear in the face of the growing popular resistance and the increasing strength of national solidarity against repression and tyranny.

The Iranian Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty warns all freedom-loving Iranians, particularly political, civil, and human rights activists abroad, that silence or failure to respond decisively to such threats will only embolden the regime to escalate its actions against advocates of freedom and political dissidents. Without a prompt and appropriate reaction, these dangerous moves will inevitably endanger the safety and liberty of all Iranians opposing authoritarianism worldwide.

This Front calls on all freedom-loving Iranians and the international community to respond swiftly and decisively, and to prevent the Islamic Republic from expanding an atmosphere of fear and intimidation beyond Iran’s borders.

The Iranian Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty once again affirms that it will never be intimidated by such threats and will continue its resolute and relentless struggle until the complete overthrow of the despotic regime and the establishment of democracy, freedom, and national sovereignty in Iran.

In Defence of Afghan Refugees and in Pursuit of National Solidarity Against the Islamic Republic

In Defence of Afghan Refugees and in Pursuit of National Solidarity Against the Islamic Re

In recent years and with renewed intensity in the wake of the Islamic Republic’s humiliating defeat in its confrontation with Israel, we have witnessed an alarming surge in hate speech, discrimination, violence, and systemic exclusion targeting our Afghan brothers and sisters residing in Iran.

This new wave of cruelty, reaching its peak in recent days, has no roots in the Iranian civil society nor in the shared history of our peoples. Rather, it is yet another manifestation of the Islamic Republic’s long-standing strategy of authoritarian divide-and-rule, one aimed at sowing ethnic, religious, linguistic, and class divisions to fracture national unity.

For decades, millions of Afghan migrants have lived, worked, and built families in Iran. Their children were born on Iranian soil, grew up in our neighbourhoods, and attended our schools. Many of them now find themselves estranged even from the land of their ancestors.

And yet today, in a moment of extreme political weakness and isolation, the Islamic Republic, desperate to deflect attention from its military failure, resorts to scapegoating these communities, levelling absurd accusations of espionage and treason against innocent civilians.

These accusations are not only devoid of any intelligence value but serve only one cynical purpose: to incite racial hatred and evade accountability.

The Iranian Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty (IFRLNS) unequivocally condemns this shameful campaign of xenophobic incitement and affirms the following:

Afghan residents are an integral part of our national community and those who have lived alongside the people of Iran for years must enjoy equal human, social, and moral rights.

We call upon all Iranian citizens to reject these divisive policies and to stand in solidarity with our Afghan brothers and sisters in defence of their dignity and our shared humanity.

We also invite all Afghan residents of Iran to join the Iranian revolutionary movement and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the people of Iran in the struggle to overthrow a regime that recognises the worth of no human being.

To the occupying rulers, those estranged from Iranian culture, dignity, and values, we issue the following warning:

Your attempts to mask failure through the incitement of racial hatred will not deceive the Iranian people. On the day this regime collapses, these acts of state-sponsored racism will be addressed under the framework of transitional justice, an essential process for restoring the dignity of victims, repairing the social fabric, and rebuilding ethical governance in the Iran of tomorrow.

The time has come to tear down the walls of humiliation, discrimination, and lies, and to forge a great human and regional solidarity among the peoples of Iran, Afghanistan, and all nations plagued by tyranny.

Masood Masjoudy

 As the Islamic Republic nears its end, the people of Iran need your clear and decisive support.

For over four decades, the people of Iran have bravely resisted one of the most brutal religious-military regimes of our time. The Islamic Republic neither represents the Iranian people nor is it capable of reform.

This regime is a source of regional instability, a threat to global peace, and the sworn enemy of Iran and Iranians.

Today, following limited and precise strikes on the regime's military and nuclear infrastructure, the Iranian nation looks to the future with renewed hope. The overwhelming majority of Iranians have welcomed these actions as a blow to the regime’s machinery of oppression and nuclear adventurism.

However, the suspension of these attacks has strengthened the regime, leading to the arrest of labour and political activists under fabricated charges of "spying for Israel." The number of executions has risen, and the condition of prisoners in Evin remains unknown and deeply concerning.

The Iranian Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty (IFRLNS) hereby asks the respected addressees of this statement the following:

1. Recognise the Iranian people’s legitimate and explicit demand for the end of the Islamic Republic.

This regime cannot be reformed. The people of Iran seek a transition to a democratic, secular, independent, and lawful order. Any effort to preserve or rehabilitate this regime is a betrayal of the people’s will.

2. Acknowledge the legitimacy of continued strikes on the regime’s military, security, and nuclear infrastructure.

These are not attacks on the Iranian people.  They are attacks on the regime’s tools of repression and global threat. You can hasten the regime’s collapse and pave the way for the people's liberation. We do not seek an attack on the people of Iran; we seek an end to the Islamic Republic.

3. Maintain targeted and intelligent pressure in support of the Iranian people.
Sanctions must target regime officials and institutions — not the people. At the same time, there must be support for free internet access, secure communications, independent civil and labour networks, and humanitarian assistance.

4. Offer formal and public support for Iran’s democratic and national forces.
The alternative to the Islamic Republic must come from the people, not from within its power structure. We are ready to take responsibility for the transition and build a democratic, cohesive, and stable future for Iran.

5. Do not repeat the mistakes made in Iraq and Afghanistan.
No unplanned collapse, no foreign military occupation, no puppet government. Iran requires an intelligent, lawful, and nationally driven transition. Our people are ready; we have the vision and the framework. What we need is formal international recognition and support to represent the Iranian nation.

We, the people of Iran, seek freedom, justice, democracy, security, and non-theocratic national sovereignty.

In this historic moment, we call upon the conscience of the world to stand with the people of Iran, not against them, and not in the shadow of a regime that has long lost all legitimacy.

With respect and unwavering resolve for Iran’s liberation

Official Statement of the Iranian Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty -

Regarding the Potential Unconditional Surrender of the Islamic Republic to the United States and the Necessity of a Referendum Under International Supervision

In response to President Donald Trump's official declaration demanding the unconditional surrender of the Islamic Republic, the Iranian Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty hereby clearly states its position on this significant matter.

We recognize that one potential scenario at this historic juncture is the Islamic Republic's acceptance of surrender terms, an action possibly aimed solely at prolonging this illegitimate regime's survival. The Front firmly emphasizes that any potential surrender must not lead to the continuation of this oppressive government. Acceptance of surrender must be conditional upon the immediate organization of a fair and transparent referendum in Iran.

This referendum must be supervised by a specialized international commission responsible for overseeing the transition of power and conducting the referendum, modeled after successful precedents such as those in South Africa and Eastern Europe. This commission should operate under the direct oversight of the United Nations Security Council and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, with logistical and technical support provided by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), ensuring full transparency and impartiality. This will accurately reflect the genuine will of the Iranian people regarding the continuation or the complete rejection of the current regime and the constitution.

The Front firmly believes that the Iranian people will unequivocally reject the continuation of the current regime in this referendum. Therefore, once the referendum results are announced and the people clearly reject the entirety of this regime, power must be transferred peacefully, lawfully, legitimately, and under the direct oversight of the international commission to the Iranian people.

In the phase following this transfer of power, Iran will enter a transitional period. The Iranian Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty stands fully prepared to operate according to its Seventeen-Point Charter during this critical historic period, providing the necessary conditions for establishing a provisional government, convening a Constituent Assembly, and drafting a new constitution based on secular, democratic principles and the protection of human rights.

We strongly urge the United States and the international community to prioritize the genuine rights and interests of the Iranian people in any potential negotiations or agreements with the Islamic Republic, and never allow a possible surrender to become an excuse for continued oppression and tyranny.

The great Iranian nation deserves freedom, justice, and human dignity. Only by achieving these aspirations can lasting peace be established in the region and globally.

Regarding the Nuclear Threat of the Islamic Republic and the Urgency of a Joint Action

11 june 2025

Amir Labaf

Over time, the world has come to a clear and undeniable realisation: the Islamic Republic’s nuclear activities are neither peaceful nor transparent. A regime that has long used negotiations merely as a stalling tactic is now actively working to bring its military nuclear programme to a dangerous and destructive threshold, all under the cover of diplomacy and deception.

As reported by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), some of these nuclear facilities are buried 800 metres underground, effectively placing them beyond the reach of conventional military strikes. At the same time, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi has warned of additional undisclosed sites where uranium enriched to extremely high levels has been discovered. He has stated that the Islamic Republic is deliberately obstructing inspections, operating a “complex and multi-layered” nuclear network.

In light of these alarming developments, the Iranian Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty warns about the following:

No military strike, without the active participation of the Iranian people and the complete dismantling of this regime, will be sufficient to fully and permanently neutralise the Islamic Republic’s nuclear threat.

The only fundamental solution is not merely a military action, but a regime change - a change that must occur from within, with the support of the Iranian people, as well as through a unified action by the international community.

Today, the Iranian people and the international community stand at a historic juncture, where undeniable realities point to shared strategic interests:

🔹 The people of Iran, in their struggle for freedom and national salvation.
🔹 The international community, in its duty to preserve peace and global security.

At this stage, every second counts. Any delay may incur an irreparable cost.

The world must recognise that without the people of Iran, there is no viable path to eliminating the Islamic Republic’s nuclear threat. The people of Iran also understand that only through unity with the free world can the octopus of terrorism and anti-civilisation be finally dismantled.
